On June 25, the association’s office met Nathalie Koenders, vice-president of Dijon Métropole, and Florent Gallet, active mobility project manager of Dijon metropolis. This meeting aimed to present our young association, to make its actions and projects known. We were able to explain the challenges of our subsidy request for the purchase of a cargo bike. We hope to be able to develop awareness-raising actions in partnership with the metropolis, as part of its actions for the ecological transition.
Soft mobility: actions within the framework of “May by bike”
May 3 in Arnay-le-Duc
After a welcome aperitif dinner, the evening brought together around thirty participants including 2 elected (e)s. The film “Rural mobility, alternatives to the individual car” takes stock of the situation and presents alternative mobility solutions in rural areas in Aveyron. The discussions with the participants were rich and informative, both on individual or collective obstacles and on the levers for change. Thanks to the Arnay-le-Duc Social Center and the Festiv’Artnay association for the organization!
April 13 in Dijon
The workshop “Learn how to convert a bicycle into an electrically assisted bicycle” took place in the form of a participatory project: 3 members came with their bike and their motorization kit which were the learning support for the fifteen participants. Thank you to the Amobisol volunteers who provided supervision, and to MJC Montchapet for the welcome in its premises!
On May 25 in Longvic
Amobisol participated in the “Bicycle Festival”, an event organized by the Town of Longvic. We presented our bicycle to e-bike conversion workshops” and the exhibition “Tour of Europe by solar bike: travel diaries”. Great exchanges with the public.
On May 25 at the MJC Montchapet party in Dijon
Amobisol hosted a Quiz on the Mobility Fresco, an opportunity to meet and raise awareness among the general public.

May 26 at the Talant Vélo-Tour
Amobisol met the public of the tour organized by the City, in the presence of the mayor and deputies.
From May 27 to 30 in Dijon, Salle de la Coupole
At the request of the Maison de la Méditerranée, we presented the exhibition “  ;Tour of Europe by solar bike: travel diaries”. Visitors benefited from guided tours and were able to discover the film on the Sun Trip Europe directed by Sophie Planque and Jérémy Vaugeois. As part of the “European Spring” of the Dijon Metropolis, we have published a collection of photos illustrating the meetings with the local populations of the countries crossed during this trip. June 22, at the MJC Montchapet social center: The Mobility Fresco event unfortunately had to be canceled due to the absence of several people registered.
June 29, as part of the Prize de CirQ’ festival: in a nod to the cycling and musical ballet La Bande à Tyrex, Amobisol had been invited to present its actions but the event was canceled, by prefectural decision, due to weather conditions!
Solar mobility
April 8 in Daix
Jean-Louis Mérelle set off on a great adventure on a solar bike, in the presence of the mayor of Daix, d elected officials and the local press. The school’s CM class was present because they had the project of following, week after week, the adventurer’s progress. Under cheers, Jean-Louis left for Lyon to join all the participants of the Sun Trip Sahara 2024.
From April 10 to 12 in Lyon
We participated in welcoming the Sun Trip solar cyclists and in the technical inspection of their vehicles. We discovered a great diversity of construction, although with a preponderance of recumbent bikes with 2 or 3 wheels. On April 12, at the headquarters of the Auvergne Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the grand departure for this journey to the gates of the Sahara through France, Spain, Portugal and Morocco was given.
June 4 in Daix
Returning home after 7,500 km, Jean-Louis Mérelle was greeted with enthusiasm by the class who took him followed throughout his adventure. The students were endless with questions, on technical areas, on the conditions of the course, on meetings with local populations…
In July and August, in Alsace and the Dolomites
Thanks to the preparation by 2 members of Amobisol, our site velo-solaire.com has published 2 proposals for shared hikes, by solar bike or electric bike: one in Alsace at the beginning of July developed by Sylvain S., the other in the Italian Dolomites at the end of July-beginning of August developed by Daniele G. Around ten participants have already registered for these events. Thanks to the organizers!
Back to school 2024
From September 16 to 22 in Talant
An operation “A week without my car” is organized by Talant Town Hall in partnership with Amobisol. We will provide volunteers with our electrically assisted bicycles. The partner Douze Cycle, manufacturer of cargo bikes in the metropolis of Dijon, will provide cargo bikes for families with children. The operation will be accompanied by activities, Mobility Fresco workshops and the screening of the film “Les Roues de l’Avenir” by Charlotte Brunier and Romain Mercieux.
September 23 in Dijon
Amobisol will be present at the “ Grand Déj’ ” like last year. , the forum which brings together 220 Burgundy associations and some 10,000 visitors each year. Come and meet us there!
